“Spring to Life” in March, a month of madness. Consider Mardi Gras around the world, from Sydney to New Orleans, Rio or perhaps Venice. All are great LGBTQ travel destinations.

2019 is a celestial unique year with a full moon on the fi rst day of Spring on March 20. Consider a dark sky experience nearby in Death Valley or at the Big Bend of the Rio Grand, along the “Wall” route. Join several Las Vegas RVing Silver Daddies at Stove Pipe Wells in Death Valley. Call me to arrange both RV spaces and RV rentals or hotel.

Did you miss the Quartzite, AZ RV gathering or the Tucson Gem Show earlier this year? The next two opportunities in Arizona are Modernism Week in Phoenix, a great place to get spring cleaning, remodeling or restoration ideas. Followed by Phoenix Pride on April 7 and 8. To end March and begin April, women can trek off to the Fabulous Dinah Shore Weekend in Palm Springs.

Since March is also the beginning of the “greening season,” St. Patrick’s Day weekend beckons you to NYC, Boston or for the internationally inclined, try Dublin or Shannon, Ireland. Several LGBTQ events include the Amsterdam Bear Pride, Euro Ski Week in Alpe de Huez, France or closer to home, how about the LA Fetish Pride. Need sun? Christchurch, New Zealand pride week continues through March 10. Of course, Florida beckons with events in Miami, Palm Beaches and Bradenton.

Miami, the world’s busiest cruise port, is where you can sail OUT to a truly unique pride event. Havana, Cuba! MSC Armonia does a Monday to Monday, seven night cruise with Saturday and Sunday in Havana on May 18 and 19. Other ports of call include Ochos Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

Another unique cruise is the “Polar Bears” with Dr. Loren Olsen. He’s been a featured speaker at Fun Fest, right here in Las Vegas, on several occasions.

April 22 is your chance to join them and go transatlantic from Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona. It’s the home port for Stiges. Prefer an all gay charter cruise? We do RSVP, Atlantis, Olivia, R Family and all the others.

If beach time is your thing, then the ultimate April destination would be Puerto Vallarta’s Pride, April 20-26. Where to stay? Ask me about Nuevo Vallarta, Marina, Hotelera, Romantica or Mismaloya. I have the details on each of these resort areas. Frequent Hilton or Marriot member? I have deals on these, too!

Into travel trivia? Here are your “must visit” destinations by initials. AWC is travel code for Angor Wat Cambodia. Can you guess these others? SOA, CRB, GGC, MPP, PGE, TMI, SLNY, PNJ, EIC, ETF and finally, CIM. Good luck. Let me know how you do.
