The Black People Matter rally draws 6,000 to its peaceful protest and vigil


The We Deserve to Live: Black People Matter Rally, March & Candlelight Vigil was held Friday, June 5 at Kianga Isoke Palacio Park on the historic west side of Las Vegas. An estimated 6,000 citizens showed up for the peaceful protest and candle light vigil. Event organizer Stretch Sanders plans to host PART 2, focusing on legislation to protect black lives, Friday, June 26th at the Grant Sawyer State Office Building located near the Neon Museum in Las Vegas.
