Vegas Astrology: Happy Birthday, Libra; October vibration; time for self-healing

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

October vibrates to the number 1; which is Aries’ favorite number. “First at the buffet,” Aries will say. In October, it is absolutely OK to be first in whatever you do. The first three weeks are success-driven, and any new projects started in the first three weeks will be meaningful. You must be willing to be totally committed and step into your limelight. Pursue any nagging projects and follow up with those leads. Not necessarily a month for romance, but your charm will attract significant people. OK to coast the last week of the month.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

This is the month to explore partnerships, and more, importantly how you are regarded. This applies to both business and personal. Make sure you are exploring legal agreements thoroughly and not taking someone’s word for a deal or arrangement. Call in that favor with your attorney friend (you know, the one that owes you), and ask his or her advice. Taurus is frequently reluctant to “call in favors,’ but this is the month to do so. What you do this month sets your freedom or limitations.

GEMINI (May 21- June 21)

OK, Gemini, stop putting off what you want this month. It’s time to be completely transparent with all relationships. Where you’ve been great at working your environment to your favor, it’s simply time to state your truth, your worth and what you want. October is your lucky month. Though I don’t see you winning the lottery (because there isn’t one in Nevada), I see you being in the right place at the right time. There are all sorts of spiritual and human angels working in your favor this month, so please pay attention. Accept all social invitations.

 CANCER (June 22 – July 23)

Get out of your own way. It’s not about making anything happen; it’s about letting things happen. No one is deliberately out to hurt you or betray you. Your big lesson this month is to learn to trust the process. Seriously, thank the Universe for even the simple things, like the fact you have toilet paper! Good news arrives by the 21st of October … and until then? Do not verbally complain about anything. You’re just irritating people around you.  LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23)

It’s time for you to learn to have fun again. I don’t care what age you are, but as a famous author once said, “All pleasures are personal.” Your personal pleasure has nothing to do with finding what’s “out there” to make you happy; it’s about that deep thing that you can lose yourself in the doing. It’s a creative month for you, Leo. Write that frickken novel, throw paint on a canvas or learn to make the perfect soufflé. Do this to please you. Everyone around you will be grateful that you’ve earned the right to do what you love – and it’s OK to be self aware.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 22)

Finally, the catalyst year of struggle is over! You have been (or will be very soon) acknowledged for what you “bring to the table.” It has been a personally challenging year of facing demons, protecting your family and rejection. I am happy to report that you have faced the fire walk, did the right karmic thing, and have evolved an even better human as a result. You didn’t need me to tell you this.  LIBRA (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

This is not a month of initiation for you; it is a month of self-healing. October is a “1” vibration and for you that means to take care of any health issues. Consult your doctor for whatever you’ve been putting off. Avoid “using” other people as your excuse for not taking care of yourself. You’ve been making assumptions lately about people and events. Stop that! Ask the question and avoid thinking that you know what someone will tell you or how they will act, especially when it comes to your emotional and physical well-being.

 SCORPIO (Oct. 23 – Nov. 22)

Soooo, it’s not so much about the money anymore, but you’re making it about the money. You are making yourself stay in a situation that no longer serves you by using the excuse of money to stay there. If the work you do is too easy for you and you’re bored with it, it’s time to find the work that you truly enjoy. Now, is the time to prepare for your next adventure … even if that’s on the side. It’s very difficult to put yourself “out there” for what you want, but that’s exactly the vibration that’s upon you this month. This task is on you, because no one can live your life.

SAGITARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 20)

Start asking the questions that will show people how bright you are and that you are paying attention. Prepare for something big to present itself in November.  CAPRICORN (Dec. 21 – Jan. 20)

Define your version of happiness and success this month. Do not look at what other people are doing (or worse compare your life to theirs) to define your happiness. Do not dwell on the unfairness of life; instead notice that birds still fly, kittens and puppies are irresistible and that you are here for a reason. Contemplate what you do have control over and do not brood about things out of your control. Make your world (and the people for whom you care) your version of perfect. AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19)

The fastest way to motivate you is to piss you off. That’s unfortunate for whoever has tapped into your ire, because no one can hold a grudge like an Aquarian. However, the gift you give yourself this month is forgiveness. There are people pulling at you and it’s time to decide.  PISCES (Feb. 20 – March 20)

You’ve been fighting many egos lately. It’s time to withdraw from any issue that will cause a conflict, romantically and/or career-wise. It’s been a year of readjustment and finding the place that allows you to flow with the times. Unless the job is your “dream” job, don’t seek to change jobs until next year. Avoid romantic conflict as well. You can’t control the other person. You just have to accept their nature as a reflection of “who they are.” These people behaving so dramatically isn’t about you, it’s about them protecting their (alleged) territory. Don’t engage.
