Phoebe Hall 2008-2019

It’s hard to say what the first nine years of her little life was like. But, sadly, one day she found herself on death row at our local shelter. A senior, overweight, and with medical issues, she was hardly a good candidate for adoption. Luckily, for this little baby, she was exactly what Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue was looking for! Specializing in seniors and dogs with medical issues this rescue works hard to save hundreds of dogs each year, that’s where I came in.

I met Phoebe, who was then called Rose, at one of their adoption events. Needless to say, it was love at first sight. I had the pleasure of fostering Phoebe/ Rose for two years, during which time she went on a diet and began treatment for thyroid disease. She finally became healthy enough to adopt last June when she officially became Phoebe Hall!

Even though we only had a few years together before she succumbed to heart disease, they were filled with lots of belly rubs, ear scratches, baby carrot treats and, of course, love. She will be greatly missed by me and the rest of the Hall pack.
